Why didn’t we show you a specific cost when using the calculator? Mainland is a more complex process than setting up a free zone company. Your activity, structure, office requirements substantially affect the set up process. There can be approvals required based on this prior to license issuance or post license issuance, my team needs to gather further information to provide you with the optimal solution.

In Dubai alone, the Department of Economic Development (DED) issued a staggering 21,146 new business licenses in 2017. Among these new businesses – and the 125,000+ license renewals issued every year – the most popular company type is the tried and tested Limited Liability Company, or LLC.

Procedure and Timeline
Step 1: Initial Approval and Trade Name Reservation
We require three separate and distinct trade name options in order of priority. Please keep options open as your desired trade name will not always be available.
Step 2: Corporate Documents
A standard LLC will require the shareholders to be physically present to sign the Memorandum of Association (required to issue the license) or we can arrange for a Remote Power of Attorney to be granted if the shareholder cannot be physically present.
Step 3: Commercial Space
Commercial space is required to issue the licence. To fast-track this step, we can issue a virtual office solution. The registered contract will be issued and is known as an "Ejari".
Step 4: Licence Issuance
When all the foregoing formalities are completed and the Ejari is ready, the licence can be issued. (in some circumstances further approvals are required)
Step 5: Visas
After licence issuance, the next step is to open an establishment file. At this point partner visas can be issued. The labor file requires to be opened to issue employment visas.
